Hello All, 

I hope everyone has read and enjoyed First Place Losers #1! The team is excited to make issue #2 once we can get everything all lined up. In the meantime, check out these beautifully rendered designs of Max's original concept for Team ION's exo-rig courtesy of Dmytro Matiikiv. 

Awesome right?! This is my first time diving into the 3D printing world, but it's exciting. Once we have a finalized version, I'll make sure to preview that as well. I'll even take a crack at painting one, and see how that goes. 

I also wanted to do a quick check in with my next project: 

That's right, a nature magazine for kaiju! An homage to the animal magazines of my youth like Zoobooks and Ranger Rick. But we'll be tackling giant fantastical creatures instead. A true love letter to everything tokusatsu. We'll also be focusing on the kaiju sanctuary where these magnificent animals who have been injured or endangered can be studied and cared for. Here are a few excerpts of what to expect:

Lastly, I wanted to highlight our First Place Losers alumni as Max and Rob have a sci-fi adventure comic Tyrant Fall with writer Brennan Knight, launching very soon. You won't want to miss it! It's for the third issue, but you can pick up all 3 in the next campaign.

Hey Gang, 

Checking in to let you know the last batch of packages went out today! There are a very small number of you that have still not filled out your survey or had a declined card. If you're wondering if you fall into one of those categories, check your surveys. But otherwise, your package should be delivered or on its way! 

International Backers - there were a number of you that I sent emails to regarding your order, so if you have not received your package yet, please check your inboxes.

Hey Gang, 

Quick check in here. I sent out roughly 50 packages today. Here's a few process photos: 

Flobo is coming over tomorrow, to help me tackle the stack. Our goal is to be largely completed by the end of this week. I'm sending Max all the final rewards, so he can send out the original art tier as well.

PLEASE do not put issues with your order in the comments. It's hard for me to keep track, and we always make sure to rectify the situation.

Book Arrival + Next Steps

Happy Sunday All, 

Books have officially arrived, and they look fantastic!

Timeline: 

• Digital rewards have all gone out. If you have not received them, please reach out through here or email at [email protected].
• Between Flobo and I, book packaging and fulfillment will begin next weekend. 
• Grand prix tier t-shirts will be done by Wednesday of this week. We're still missing a few badge photos and shirt sizes, so please fill out those surveys if you have not already. 
• Max will be handling original art tier packaging and recording video intros soon. So make sure you're email addresses are up to date to receive those. 

I believe that's everything, but please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Have a great rest of the weekend and upcoming week!
